Out door service :
This hospital is a twelve storied building including two basements. It has nine lacs sq. feet area, whose sixty percent are now being used and the rest 40 percent are unutilized. Every day this hospital is providing outdoor service to 2800-3200 patients in Surgery, Medicine, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, ENT, Pediatrics, Orthopedic, Dermatology, Dentistry, Homeopathic, Ayurbedic & harval department. This hospital providing treatment some special subjects in outdoor like Oncology, Nephrology, Urology, Hepatology, Burn & plastic surgery, Pulmonology etc. Recently we have started infertility clinic, breast cancer screening centre, thalassemia prevention counseling centre in limited scale. In outdoor- Expanded program on immunization (EPI) vaccination, family planning, free drug distribution of tuberculosis program are running smoothly.
Indoor Service :
This 1200 bedded hospital remains occupied with 500-550 indoor patients every day. Like all departments of outdoor service, treatment of Surgery, Medicine, Gynaeclology, ophthalmology, ENT, Pediatric, Orthopedics-Surgery, Dentistry, Pulmonology are available in this hospital. In the indoor we are also providing service on some specialties like Oncology, Nephrology, Urology, Hepatology, Burn and Plastic surgery. At present we are running 33 machines and doing dialysis of 66 patients everyday in dialysis centre.
Operation Facilities :
In Operation theater service, we are performing operations of all subjects except Neuro, Cardiac and chest surgery. Laparoscopic surgery, Phaco, some sophisticated surgery of urology, burn and plastic surgery are done here regularly. We have also facilities of LASER treatment for dermatology. Happy to mention that operations like Lapchol, Cesarean section operation are done almost free in this hospital. In addition, Blood bank and blood transfusion facility, mortuary, chemotherapy day care services are also available in this hospital.
Upcoming Treatment Facilities :
Twelve beded ICU, 20 beded HDU, 40 beded CCU and Cardiology ward will be started soon. Hopefully within 3 to 4 months we will be able to do angiogram as well as stenting of coronary arteries in hospital cath-lab. Ministry also promised to provide Radiotherapy machine “Cobalt-60” for this hospital very soon.
Radiology and Imaging Service:
Radiology and Imaging department we have 1.5 Tesla MRI, 128 slice CT Scan, 1000 mA Digital x-ray, 500 mA digital x-ray, 500mA CR, Mammography, Oral Pantomogram(OPG), 4D, 3D& 2D ultra sonogram. Every day a good number of patient are getting service from these modern radiology-imaging department.
Pathology Service:
Pathology department of this hospital is also very rich and well-equipped with all modern machines. Most of the important pathological tests (60 test) are done including hormones, hemoglobin-electrophoresis, cancer markers.
Others Service :
Every day patients are getting service with colour Doppler Echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography, ETT, Halter, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ECG. In one sentence, “Patients are getting one stop specialist outdoor service from this hospital.”

- Establishment of nursing College.
Training & Education:
- At present we are conducting seminar/symposium regularly as a part of continuing medical education (CME).
- Internees of AFMC are getting exposure and taking their required training from here.
- BSC Nurses of AFMI are also getting their training from this hospital.
- Director General Health Service also assigned this hospital to train students of Govt. health institutes.
- In addition, this hospital is contributing to prepare health professionals by offering training to a good number of students of civil health and nursing institutes.
Special assignment :
Considering the infrastructure, location and other facilities- MOH&FW has fixed this hospital to hold and treat Epidemic/Pandemic cases like Ebola, Swine flu, Zica Virus. Every year we are being assigned to perform medical checkup of 10 thousand Hajj pilgrims.
